Inspired, outside in: Wherever we reside, what’s outside of the windows has always inspired what’s on the inside. They blur the line between the two — a rocky outcrop, an expanse of the Serengeti, a lush patch of trees — cue the colour palette or selection of textures that make the spaces inside feel so seamlessly connected to the world outside. Even further out, distant rockfaces of red stone, and the lines on a leaf, echo in a mosaic of tiles on the wall inside, or a pattern beaded into an artwork.
