wisdom
You cannot get more authentic than stone. Embedded where it has been shaped. Solidity for the soul. Ancient gravity. Anchor. Stone is a journey older than we can comprehend; refuge from restlessness; warm hope; an experiential touchstone in a shifting world; the continuation of a narrative greater than the present. By choosing to be present to stone, we join that continuity.
Stone is the physical presence of the earth. It gives the gift of place-based intimacy, desiring to inspire curiosity, wonder, and even hope. Hope that the gloom and grind and relentless pace of modernity are not the final word, that there are, literally, touchstones in the world where we can return, re-ground, and receive a breath of restoration from places that hold firm and carry on in the midst of life’s uncertainties.
Previous spread A vantage point for time immemorial. Left The story of any landscape is intertwined with stone.
